Sacred Services provides music for the opening Ceremony for Drumalis

Loreto McAuley and Nuala Murray provided music for the rededication of Drumalis after major refurbishment.  The ceremony was attended by the Bishop of Down and Connor, Patrick Walsh, and the Mayor of Larne, as well as many people who were involved in the renovation of Drumalis.

Training Day for Parish Cantors Cancelled

The training day for parish cantors, which was to be held in Drumalis on November 15, has been cancelled due to illness.  It is hoped that this training day will be re-scheduled in the new year.

Training Day for Parish Choir Members a great success

The training day for parish choir members was attended by over 40 singers and was a very enjoyable day, held in the ballroom in Drumalis House.  The day ended with a prayer service for church musicians in the beautiful oratory where the participants had an opportunity to make use of the new music they had learnt.

Loreto McAuley appointed Director of Music and Liturgy at St. Peter's Cathedral Belfast

The director of Sacred Services, Loreto McAuley, has been appointed to St. Peter's Cathedral as Director of Music and Liturgy.  This is a new post which will involve overseeing and developing  music and liturgy at the Cathedral, which will close during 2003-2004 for refurbishment.
